還記得妳出生那晚，媽媽還跟碗公阿姨，草莓妹妹在逛大葉高島屋。肚子不停地抽痛。但妳就是個好動的小寶寶，就連在肚子裡也不安分。晚上回家，外公，外婆還沒到家，打給外婆，她讓我先準備包包。十點他們ㄧ到家，就帶媽媽到馬偕醫院掛急診。這天似乎是週日。馬上坐上輪椅，被推到產房。早就該去醫院了，但很怕太早去，這下又太晚去，連無痛分娩也來不及打！沒人陪進產房，還好妳也沒讓媽媽痛苦太久，半夜十二點過後，就呱呱墜地。

Culture shock is manifest as anxiety, stress and disorientation, and arises when an individual is confronted with an unfamiliar environment, where existing familiar social patterns are rendered ineffective (Mumfor, 2000) p.155
Oberg in 1954 was the first to introduce the concept of "culture shock". He defiend as "an occuptional disease of people who have been suddently transplanted abroad". p.156
